01 / Build the experience

Choose the mix. Make it your own.

A colour-led selection

Choose a colour direction that connects the sweets to your campaign. Familiar options from our wider service range include cola bottles, bon bons, foam bananas and jelly sweets. The final selection, availability and ingredients are agreed for your event rather than chosen by colour alone.

Brand the stand and bags

The display catches attention; the bag carries the idea away. Branded stands and bags can make the experience feel connected from the first choice to the last sweet. Share your artwork and any messaging so the practical serving format can be designed alongside the graphics.

Plan the guest flow

A pick-and-mix station can attract a queue when a group arrives together. Think about where guests collect bags, choose sweets and leave the display. Replenishment, supervision and handling should be agreed as part of the service, especially within a busy exhibition or workplace.

02 / Pick n Mix

Consider the display and takeaway together

A pick n mix display has two audiences: people approaching it and people already choosing their sweets. Think about what each needs to see. Your campaign identity, menu information and any serving instructions should have a clear place in the concept. Share your colour palette and packaging references as discussion points, then agree what is practical for the selected range and format. The final presentation should reflect the actual sweets being served.

03 / Pick n Mix

Plan for how guests will use it

The display needs to work within the guest route, not just within a photograph. Include its proposed position, the surrounding activity and the event schedule in your brief. Explain whether guests will take sweets away or enjoy them on site. Agree the selection process and any assistance required as part of the service proposal, alongside ingredient information and the practical details of access, space and event timing.

Your questions, answered.

Is pick n mix always self-service?

The selection and serving approach should be agreed for your event. Tell us about the audience, setting and guest flow so the format discussion covers how people choose and receive their sweets.

What about ingredient and allergen information?

Flag guest requirements when you enquire and request the ingredient information for the final agreed selection. We can help make the display information clear once the selection and ingredients are confirmed.

Can you match sweets to our brand colours?

A colour-led selection can be explored, subject to available sweets and ingredients. We will agree the mix with you. Colour matching should not replace checks for dietary requirements and allergens.

Can guests take branded bags away?

Branded bags are an option for the experience. Share the artwork, expected guest numbers and how you want the sweets to be distributed so the quantity and packaging can be scoped.
